Founded in 2022 as a spin-off from TU Wien, GATE Space specializes in spacecraft propulsion, with its technology having completed more than 8,000 hot-fire tests under atmospheric and vacuum conditions. The project also received approximately 750,000 euros from Austrian public funds to support technological advancements.
Additional experts supply necessary systems for the satellite’s navigation monitoring mission.
